Benediction Coffee: A Brand Story

Our Story 

Benediction began the way many sacred things do: slowly, unexpectedly, and with more grace than we knew how to ask for.

We didn’t meet and instantly click. In fact, we were almost opposites—one of us charging forward with early success, the other quietly trying to find her place. Both seeking witness.

Ours is a friendship built on difference and devotion—shaped not by sameness, but by the choice to keep showing up. To listen. To forgive. To extend grace when it would be easier not to. We credit Jesus for that part—He’s the third chair at every coffee meeting, the reason we’re still friends, and the root of this dream.

At Benediction, coffee isn’t about knowledge—it’s about gathering. We’re coffee nerds (never snobs!) desiring to fill your cup with joy, comfort, celebration, or rest—whatever you need as you move through your daily rituals. Our goal isn’t secret menus and esoteric orders. It’s connection. 

Whether you’re here to study, catch up with friends, introduce your out-of-town parents to your favorite latte, or cry over hard news—we want to meet you there.
